How to Track Your Affiliate Clicks and Conversions

All of your dotCanada affiliate reporting is in your CJ account. CJ records clicks on your links and the orders that follow.

Where to Find Your Reports

Log in to CJ and open the reports section. You can see clicks, sales, commission amounts and the status of each commission, and filter by date and by the dotCanada advertiser.

When Sales Appear

A sale is reported to CJ when the customer's first invoice is paid. It first shows as pending (sometimes called extended or new). Once the order is past our 30-day money-back guarantee and the CJ lock period, the commission is confirmed and becomes payable.

Why a Sale Might Not Appear

• Not a new customer. The customer already had active dotCanada hosting or domains.
• The click was not recorded. The visitor blocked cookies, used a different browser or device, or reached us through another affiliate's link afterwards.
• The order was refunded or cancelled within the money-back period. The commission is then reversed.
• The product does not earn commission, such as a renewal, upgrade or add-on.

Using the Data

Compare clicks and sales by page or link to see what converts. Pages that compare plans or walk through a setup tend to perform better than banners alone.
