Affiliate Program FAQ - Common Questions Answered

How much can I earn?

Up to $200 per new customer, from your first sale:

• Web hosting and WordPress hosting: $25 (Launch), $50 (Grow), $75 (Scale) or $100 (Peak) on 1, 2 or 3-year terms
• Reseller hosting: $125 (Agency 20), $150 (Agency 40), $175 (Agency 60) or $200 (Agency 100) on 1, 2 or 3-year terms
• Monthly plans: 100% of the first month the customer pays
• Business email and domains: 10% of the amount paid
• Coupon orders: half the plan commission on 1, 2 or 3-year terms

Do coupon orders pay?

Yes. Orders on 1, 2 or 3-year terms placed with a coupon code earn half the plan commission. Email and domain commissions stay at 10%.

Who counts as a new customer?

Anyone with no active dotCanada hosting or domains when they order. Former customers whose services have ended count as new.

Are commissions recurring?

No. Each commission is paid once, on the customer's first order. Renewals, upgrades and add-ons do not earn commission.

How long after a click do I get credit?

The referral period is set in the dotCanada program terms in CJ. A purchase made within that period after a click on your link is credited to you, subject to CJ's tracking.

When and how am I paid?

Commissions are confirmed after our 30-day money-back guarantee and the CJ lock period. CJ then pays you on its publisher payment schedule, using the method in your CJ account. You do not need to request a withdrawal.

Can I refer myself?

No. Orders for yourself, or for any account you control, do not earn commission.

Can I run paid ads?

You may run ads on other keywords that lead to your own content. You may not bid on dotCanada or similar terms, or use our website as an ad's display URL, without written approval.

Where are the full terms?

In our affiliate agreement.
