Can I use SSH key authentication?
Yes. Upload your public key via cPanel's SSH Key Manager and connect without a password. RSA and Ed25519 keys are supported.
Can I run background processes?
Shared hosting restricts persistent background daemons, but you can run scripts, use nohup for short background tasks, and schedule via cron.
Is SFTP supported?
Yes. Use your SSH credentials to connect via SFTP in any file transfer client like FileZilla or Cyberduck.
Can I install custom software via SSH?
You can install software in your home directory. System-level software installation requires a VPS or dedicated server.
Which SSH port do you use?
We use a non-standard SSH port for security reasons. Your exact port number is provided in your account welcome email.
