Daily Backup Hosting Questions
Are backups automatic?
Yes. Daily backups run automatically on all plans. You do not need to configure anything - your site is backed up every day.
How many days of backups are kept?
Premium plans retain 7 days of daily backups. Business plans retain 14 days. Enterprise plans retain 30 days.
Can I restore a single file instead of the whole site?
Yes. Use the File Manager restore or FTP to extract individual files from a backup. For full site restores, use the Backup Restore wizard in cPanel.
Can I download my backup files?
Yes. Use the Backup tool in cPanel to generate and download a full cPanel backup archive at any time.
Are database backups separate from file backups?
Databases are included in the full cPanel backup. You can also export individual MySQL databases at any time from phpMyAdmin.
Does backup storage count toward my disk quota?
Our server-side backups are stored separately and do not count toward your account's storage allocation.
